Ong Bak

Ong Bak is a legendary statue of Buddha that is in the temple of Nong Para-du, in rural Thailand. Villagers believe that the magical powers of Ong Bak protect them from all evil. A ruthless gangster steals the head of the Buddha leaving the people totally unprotected. Its inhabitants will look for a warrior to recover the Buddha and face the gang of gangsters, finding Ting, an orphan raised in the temple, and a student of Pra Kru, a kind monk, an expert in the ancient art of Muay Thai: "The Nine Body Weapons ».
