Eric Sloane (Dennis Alexio) is a professional kickboxing fighter who is nicknamed The Exterminator. After winning numerous fights in the United States, he decides to leave his country and fight elsewhere. The destination you choose is Thailand, where this sport is very popular. His brother Kurt (Jean-Claude Van Damme), who is also his manager, decides to accompany him to Bangkok.

In one of the fights, Eric has to fight the country champion, the vigorous Tong Po. In the first assault it is already observed that Tong Po is much more effective than him, but although his brother Kurt advises him to retire, Eric's conceited continues with the fight. It is in the second assault when the worst happens; the ruthless Tong gives him a brutal kick in the spine causing him a paraplegia.

Kurt, outraged by the dirty Thai game, swears to avenge what he has done to his brother. For this he is helped by the master Xian Chow, who will teach him the art of Muay Tai, the kickboxing that is practiced in the region.

Eric Sloane (Dennis Alexio) es un luchador professional de kickboxing al que le apodan El Exterminador. Tras ganar numerosos combates en Estados Unidos decide salir de su país y luchar en otros lugares. El destino que elige es Tailandia, donde este deporte es muy popular. Su hermano Kurt (Jean-Claude Van Damme), que a la vez es su manager, decide acompañarlo a Bangkok.

En uno de los combates, Eric tiene que luchar contra el campeón del país, el vigoroso Tong Po. En el primer asalto ya se observa que Tong Po es mucho más eficaz que él, pero a pesar de que su hermano Kurt le aconseja que se retire, el engreído de Eric continúa con la lucha. Es en el segundo asalto cuando ocurre lo peor; el despiadado Tong le propina una brutal patada en la columna vertebral causándole una paraplejia.

Kurt, indignado por el juego sucio del tailandés, jura vengar lo que le ha hecho a su hermano. Para ello es ayudado por el maestro Xian Chow, que le enseñará el arte del Muay Tai, el kickboxing que se practica en la región.
